The Partition of the Punjab

During the eighteenth century, the Provinces of Lahore and Multan were divided into a number of small principalities, following the decline of the Mughal Empire and the death of Ahmed Shah Abdali, the Afghan Emporer, who had annexed these provinces to Afghanistan.
