It All Adds Up to Love

It is difficult to explain to one who doesn’t know what a dhaba really is. An eatery. Serving food at low prices. Amidst not very hygienic surroundings. With a couple of rickety chairs and and table places under the open sky for the patrons. And a thatched hut with a tandoor where all the cooking and the cleaning up of the utensils is carried out. A couple of urchins, abandoned children or runaways from home, who act as waiters, taking orders, serving the same with a clatter of cutlery and after the patrons have left wiping the grease and the crumbs from the table with a dirty wet rag.
